Managing operations in an environmentally and socially responsible manner – “sustainable manufacturing” – is no longer just nice-to-have, but a business imperative. As such, we at Breden Incorporated, DBA: Lundene Industrial are committed to fostering a sustainable future in the communities where our products are manufactured, and which will thereby contribute to environmental, social and economic improvements in those communities.

Our commitment to sustainability in our manufacturing means we employ a production process that reduces waste as well as reducing the manufacturing requirements for materials and energy, as well as in personnel where practical. This is being achieved through the use of modernized manufacturing equipment that is automated where practical, and implementation of repeatable manufacturing processes to control product rejections and waste.

Additionally, the materials used for, and in the manufacturing of, our products, meet the requirements for food grade products as well as the sustainability requirements from the U.S. and EU requirements:

* REACH, Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 Concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)

* Safety Standards for Food and Water Contact, including those found in Title 21 CFR (for the U.S.) and EC 1935/2004 (for Europe)

* Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), including Section 6(h) to restrict the importation and use of five persistent, bio-accumulative, and toxic (PBT) chemicals

* California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986
